Portfolio

Below are a sample of programming/web design projects I have worked on in recent years.

Oracle Demo Database & JDBC Interface — "OU Bakery"

A bare-bones JDBC interface for an Oracle 10g database, modeling a fictionalized version of the "OU Bakery". Final project for Database course in Winter 2011.

Text-Based Java Game — "The Physician's House"

A very simple text-command powered game with the goal of finding the "key" to escape from a maze. Quarter-long class project for Java/GUI course in Winter 2011.

Web Site Redesign — Ohio University Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships

Transitional project in Summer & Fall 2010 to match the previous OSFAS site design to the then-upcoming University-wide standardization.

The redesign primarily consisted of converting the old <table>-based layout to the standards-based <div> layout; updating site-wide graphics and stylesheets to comply with updated University colors and style guides; and rewriting ColdFusion-powered applications' logic to implement those changes where applications required them.

Also included a small amount of graphic design, mostly internal (except for the current OSFAS marquee logo).
