There are 3 Different ISPs

Access ISPs -> These Internet service providers include dial-up, DSL, cable, and wireless. This is a way to enable consumers to connect to the network.

Hosting ISPs -> These Internet service providers provide email, FTP, and web-hosting services. It also includes clouds, and virtual machines.

Transit ISPs -> These Internet service providers provide other ISPs access to the Internet. Because these upstream ISPs usually have a larger network than the contracting ISP, they are able to provide access to parts of the Internet that the contracting ISP has no access to.
