"The day people stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped being their leader."

Colin Powell,
My American Journey

Asst. Director of Operations
I work for Ohio University as the Assistant Director of Operations at the Institute for Corrosion and Multiphase Technology (ICMT). Working there is challenging and rewarding at the same time.   I am the project leader for the Corrosion Center Joint Industry Project (CC JIP). As project leader, I aid and oversee the research conducted by 8 to 10 graduate students while conducting my own graduate research at the same time. Check out the website. The big arch design of building exists because of a 10,000 lb multiphase flow loop that can be rotated from horizontal to vertical.    The ICMT is located on East State Street in Athens, OH.

Certified Hydrogen Sulfide Safety Instructor
I am also a Certified Hydrogen Sulfide Safety Instructor and enjoy teaching the safety concerns of working in areas associated with the dangerous gas.    Oil industry and research workers with possible exposure to hydrogen sulfide concentrations over the OSHA permissible exposure limit of 10 ppm need to have a yearly certification.   Through association with Ohio University, we are able to hold a 4-hour certification class that provides attendees with ANSI Z-390 certification for entering an area with possible exposure to hydrogen sulfide.   Training can be conducted on-site or near our facility in Athens.
