CTCH 127

Hello! My name is Bethany, and I am a Medical Assisting Technology student at OUL. I stay very busy in my life. As well as going to college, I work full time at a local grocery/drug store, and I also sell Tupperware in my spare time. Click Here to view my personal Tupperware website :)

Medical Assisting is both an excitement and a challenge for me. I love the fact that I will be able to help someone who is hurting or in need of other medical attention. I have always been fascinated by first aid kits. The only downside to me entering this program is that one of my biggest fears is needles. I am very proud of myself for pushing through the fear and overcoming the fear. We are learning phlebotomy this quarter in clinicals, and I am both extremely excited and extremely terrified. I know with enough dedication and determination that I will pull through this and be a successful phlebotomist.

My fiance's name is Jeff, and we are planning to get married sometime soon. We don't have a date set yet, but we're hoping it will be sometime next year. We're waiting to see how things go and where our career paths take us with our newly earned degrees. He just graduated this past spring, and I will be graduating this coming spring (June 2012). Take a look at pictures of my favorite place from our vacation last year!

I also love spending time with my family and friends when the occasion arises to where I have spare time. I have friends who are in bands, and I love to go watch them play. My cousin and I run a street team page for a local band called Downplay, who are now signed with Epic Records.
