Consumer mathematics is a course that, while it is not required of many students, is possibly the most useful course for every person (yes, even those not at Ohio University). This course prepares students to tackle the mathematical challenges that personal finance brings. Successfully handling these challenges enables students to take control of their financial life and properly prepare for the fiscal demands that face them throughout life.
