Gears of War Series

The Gears of War book series became an interest to me around the same time I played the first gears of war game on the Xbox 360. I was infatuated with the world and the characters that inhabit it. The first game wasn’t very story driven and gave more emphasis on gameplay than anything else, but it did however give backbone to the characters and overall setting and it gave me enough interest to pick up the first book in the series on paperback. I believe there are a total of 4 books in the series total and I have read three of those 4. I interest anyone with a liking to post apocalyptic settings with plenty of action and struggle to pick up the first book in the series, Aspho Fields.

Harry Potter

I started reading the Harry Potter series when I was 12. My Aunt bought me the 1st book for Christmas. As soon as I finished it I instantly loved it and re-read it about 4 times! I became obsessed with collecting the entire series and eventually obtained all seven volumes. I believe I enjoy Harry Potter so much because of J.K Rowling ability to transport you to a different world with her style of writing. There is so much detail and realism in her writing that whenever I read the books I am completely engrossed in the Harry Potter universe. With believable characters you grow to care and love for on a fictional setting, this series by far, is the greatest of our generation thus far. Plus it has magic…..MAGIC!

Magic Tree House series

As a child, i was never really into reading books, now to think of it, i never liked reading books, But one series that i fell in love with as a child was the Magic Tree House series. The adventures Jack and Annie, two normal children from Frog Creek, Pennsylvania experienced and the numerous missions with the magical tree house and their quests like helping free Morgan from a spell, solving four ancient riddles to become Master Librarians, and saving four ancient stories from being lost forever always made me imagine things i would have never thought off if it weren't for those stories.
