Fund your OHIO education
We are dedicated to helping our students find the financial support they need to discover their promise at OHIO. During the 2011-2012 academic year, our students earned more than $23 million in scholarships, and nearly $24 million in institutional, state, and federal need-based gift aid was awarded. Nearly 84% of all Athens campus undergraduate students received financial assistance in the form of scholarships or need-based aid.
Financial Aid. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) serves as your application for need-based financial assistance at Ohio University.
Scholarships. For transfer students admitted for fall by May 15, your application for admission serves as your merit-based scholarship application. If you are admitted by that date, you automatically will be considered for our merit-based scholarship program. Once you are an OHIO student, you can compete for upperclass scholarships with your peers.
The My OHIO Student Center provides convenient, easy-to-use, and secure access to your account details, account balance, and payment options. You can also designate an authorized user that will enable other individuals to view your account details and make payments.
