Our faculty and students participate in research that encompasses all aspects of paleontology, including vertebrates, invertebrates, plants, and trace fossils. Each research lab focuses on a particular suite of questions related to key aspects of paleontological theory ranging from functional morphology to examination of patterns of species invasions during mass extinction events. An outline of our faculty by research area and taxonomic focus are listed below. Visit the faculty page and view the list of current students and their projects for additional information on a faculty member's research program. We encourage you to contact faculty members directly to discuss potential research projects in their labs.
