Transportation from Athens to Columbus is Available
Lakefront Lines Inc., a Cleveland-based bussing service, has a bus stopping at the Athens Community Center, 701 E. State St., daily, with buses going to and from Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, Lancaster, Logan and Nelsonville, Ohio (read about the change in location). In Columbus, you can transfer to another Lakefront bus and travel to and from Lima and Van Wert, Ohio; Ft. Wayne, Angola, Lagrange, Elkhart, South Bend and Gary, Ind.; and Chicago, Ill. You can also connect with Greyhound for further destinations.

Tickets can be purchased at the community center or over the phone at 1-800-331-5009. Schedules are subject to change without notice so make sure you call or check the Web site before traveling.
Athens Airport Shuttle offers daily service to and from Athens and Port Columbus International Airport by reservation.

Athens Bus provides nonstop travel to and from Cincinnati on European-style motorcoaches.
