ZANESVILLE, Ohio (Oct. 6, 2003) -- As the leaves and temperatures begin to drop, students on the Zanesville Campus celebrate the season with their annual "Fallfest." This year's festival will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the campus green.
Sponsored by the Ohio University-Zanesville and Muskingum Tech Student Senates and the campus Joint Activities Committee, the free event brings all Ohio University-Zanesville and Muskingum Tech students, faculty and staff together for a little fun.
The event will offer free hamburgers, hot dogs and soda pop, along with volleyball and other games.
"Our campus festivals are a fun time for both schools," said Ohio University-Zanesville Student Senate Advisor Jason Howard. "There's nothing a college student loves more than free food, and this year we are adding a karaoke contest to the festivities with cash prizes."
In the event of rain, Fallfest will be held on Thursday, October 9.
