ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University will be closed Monday, May 31, in observance of the national Memorial Day holiday. The closure includes all five regional campuses and the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
The university will reopen Tuesday, June 1, operating under normally scheduled hours.
Those of you who will spend the long weekend in the Athens area may wish to watch the Fun Stuff page for information about area attractions and events. In addition, the Kennedy Museum of Art will be open Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. featuring the exhibits "Gregory Barsamian: Time and Tribulations," "Frederick Harris: Traveling with a Brush in Vietnam," "Lesley Dill: 'Poem Wedding Dress'" and "Mixed Messages: Rethinking Postcard Representations." The museum has more information available.
