Madison Digital Image Database presentation
You are invited to a presentation of the Madison Digital Image Database on Friday, April 23 from 1:30-3 p.m. Be prepared to be amazed at the elegance and flexibility of the MDID, one of the best teaching tools for image delivery in the classroom!
The MDID is a system that allows instructors to search an Ohio University fine arts database for images to build a slide show, project those images, place the images on a Web page for student study and archive the slide show for future use. To date, there are more than 2,400 images in the database, and it is constantly growing! This is available University-wide and not limited to the fine arts.
You will also get a sneak preview of upcoming features that will enhance the MDID experience.
Bring your ideas! We need your input. At this stage it is crucial that we receive input from those of you who plan to use the database: What images should we add? What will you use for lectures? Please plan to join us for this important process and see what we can do for you!
