John Kerry campaign comes to Ohio University on Thursday

The Ohio University Students for John Kerry are pleased to announce that Chris Heinz will be speaking with Ohio University students at noon in the 1804 Lounge in Baker Center. Heinz is the son of Teresa Heinz Kerry and the stepson of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.

Heinz was a successful venture capitalist when his stepfather, Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, announced his bid for the presidency. Heinz soon left his job in New York to travel the country to raise money for the campaign and speak to young people about the importance of the upcoming election and why he believes that John Kerry is the best man to take on George W. Bush in the fall.

The event will last one hour and will be open to the public. Heinz will give a short speech and then answer questions for the remainder of the time.
