Register now for 'Kids and Families: Art Encounters' The Kennedy Museum of Art's popular Art Encounters Saturday workshops, geared for children and families, are a fun and informative way to explore the museum's exhibitions! The fall program features the dynamic exhibition "Appalachians: A Contemporary Cultural Perspective."
Gallery discussions focus on cultural identity and the creative process, while studio activities utilize found objects. All of the workshops are free and open to the public and begin at 2 p.m. Preregistration is required; call (740) 593-0953 to register or for more information.

- Grades 1-3: Sept. 27 and Oct. 18
