'New Directions' continues Nov. 6 with Hogan Sherrow
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology is pleased to announce a talk by Hogan Sherrow titled "The Fusion Project: Integrating the Behavioral Ecology and Conservation of Wild Chimpanzees." The event is from 12:10 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 6,in Bentley Annex 102. All members of the university and local communities are welcome.
Sherrow will discuss work that combines scientific inquiry with conservation efforts of wild chimpanzees. His discussion raises issues specific to primate conservation as well as more general issues related to the role of research and positive social change.
