Ohio University President Robert Glidden will discuss upcoming goals and plans for the University during the annual State of the University Address at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, in Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. The public is invited.
"I look forward to the opportunity to inform the campus community of our plans for the upcoming year, particularly as they relate to the Presidential Mission Statement that we introduced last year," Glidden said.
Among areas of emphasis of the address will be student engagement and active learning. "I think those are areas that are important to all of us," Glidden said.
The address will be broadcast live on WOUB-AM 1340. Due to scheduling conflicts, there will not be a video broadcast to the regional campuses. However, WOUB radio is simulcast on the Web using RealPlayer (a free version of the player is available on the Real.com Web site).
