Parking Services will be renewing all faculty/staff parking permits. If your permit has "Property of: Ohio University Department of Campus Safety" along the bottom front, it must be renewed before Sept. 18. After that time, any vehicle displaying an old permit will be cited as an invalid permit. There is no charge to renew the permit. However, all unpaid citations must be paid before a new permit will be issued.
Parking Services is open during standard Ohio University Hours, which are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (including lunch). The office is located at 100 Factory Street. For those familiar with the University Garage, it is located in the office next to the Motor Pool Office. Directions from the Convocation Center: Follow South Shafer Street toward O'Bleness Hospital. After passing the hospital, turn right on Riverside Drive (in front of the Ohio University Credit Union). When you reach the second stop sign, it's the white building directly in front of you.
Parking Services recommends renewing your permits prior to the start of fall quarter to avoid waiting in lines resulting from student permit sales. Permits must be renewed in person -- you cannot renew a permit for someone else.
