    New faculty travel support program announced

    The new Faculty Travel Support Program sponsored by The Council for Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity becomes effective July 1, 2002. The program offers awards of up to $750 for domestic travel, $900 for international travel to Canada and Mexico, and $1,200 for all other international travel for faculty to attend meetings and workshops of professional organizations.

    Eligible activities are: reporting the applicant's research results; exhibiting or performing applicant's creative works; or participating in a workshop or professional organizational meeting which will further the applicant's research, scholarship, or creative activities (special permission from the Projects Coordinator is required prior to application submission in this category).
