Classified employees receive service awards
More than 134 classified employees were recognized for 10, 15 or 20 years of service at the Ohio University Spring Classified Employee Service Awards Reception. Each honoree was presented with a gift of appreciation.
Speakers at the ceremony included Ohio University President Robert Glidden and Vice President for Administration Gary North, while Mary Deem, chair of Classified Senate and John Dillon III, representative of AFSCME, Local 1699, presented each honoree in attendance with a gift.
The Classified Employee Service Awards program started in 1971 and has become an annual event held at Baker University Center. Honorees were:
