CNS closes off-campus residential phone service

On June 30 local phone service offered through Ohio University's Bobcat Off Campus program will be closing down. New orders for phone lines are no longer being accepted.

If you have an existing Bobcat line, it will continue to function normally until the June 30 deadline. Monthly bills will continue to be sent out and payable on schedule. If you need to move, cancel or change the name on an existing Bobcat line before June 30, you can do so on the Web at www.bobcatoffcampus.ohiou.edu or in person at the CNS office, 154 HDL Center.

If you need a new line, please contact Verizon Residential at 1-800-483-4000. Current Bobcat lines will be converted to Verizon Residential service. However, you should be able to keep your current phone number if you wish to do so.

Updates regarding the status of the conversion can be found at www.bobcatoffcampus.ohio.edu. If you have questions, contact CNS at boc@ohio.edu or 593-9700.
