Challenging perceptions
Ohio University will host the 25th Annual Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) program today. Female students in grades six through 11 will be given the opportunity to explore careers in the sciences, learn about various professions and meet women in the field.

Cheating topic of ethics conference keynote
Bernard Gert has found a similarity between the fairway and the classroom -- cheating. The Dartmouth College Stone Professor of Intellectual and Moral Philosophy will explain his philosophy connecting the links and academia when he gives the keynote lecture at Ohio University's Third Biennial Student Conference on Applied Ethics at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26.

Hall of Fame inductions highlight Communication Week
Ohio University alumni Van Gordon Sauter, a former television executive who was president of CBS News, and Charles Glover, former president of Cox Newspapers, will be inducted into the Ohio Communication Hall of Fame as part of Ohio University's 35th annual Communication Week, which will be held Saturday, April 26, through Friday, May 2.

The 18th annual Spring Literary Festival will be held May 7 through 9 on the Ohio University's Athens campus.
