Applications are now available for the 2004-2005 International Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships for study abroad and cultural experiences, beginning after July 1, 2004 and before June 30, 2005. Candidates should be outstanding students and demonstrated leaders and have a strong interest in learning about other cultures and understanding the needs of other peoples. The study abroad activity can be for up to nine months. The application deadline is April 15.
Applications are also available for the 2003-2004 International Rotary Foundation Visiting Professor Grants for use from July 1, 2003 until June 30, 2004. Eligible applicants must hold (or, if retired, have held) a full-time college or university appointment for three or more years. Subjects taught must have practical use to the host country. The applicant's home and host country must contain at least one Rotary club. The proposed host institution must be located in a low-income country. The teaching experience can be for up to nine months. The application deadline is March 25.
