Ohio University to host graduate school test prep courses

ATHENS, Ohio (March 29, 2004) -- College juniors or seniors thinking about applying for graduate school will need to take either the LSAT, GMAT or GRE as part of the application process. Since your score on these exams can play an important role in your acceptance to a graduate school or program of your choice, successful preparation is vital.

Ohio University is hosting test prep courses each Saturday between May 1 and May 22. The cost is $450 for the GRE/GMAT and $375 for LSAT. The fee includes instruction, course materials and a practice CD.

Ohio University's Community and Professional Programs test prep courses focus on the test-taking and skill-building exercises required to earn a high score. Pre-test, post exams and simulated materials are used to teach question types and test strategies. Also included is a review of online testing methods, a unique feature to the program.

Course topics include test taking techniques, time saving methods, logical reasoning, verbal and written ability, math competence and practice exams.

Classroom lessons combine lecture and review with test taking strategies. Assignments reinforce simulated test questions and the instructors will review questions you do not understand. As an added bonus, you will receive a CD-ROM to practice computer-based testing during the first session.
