ATHENS, Ohio (March 1, 2004) -- Chris Heinz, stepson of presidential hopeful John Kerry, visited campus Thursday to speak on behalf of Kerry's campaign. Approximately 50 students gathered to listen to him talk about the economy, education, environment and a variety of other issues.

Heinz is the son of Teresa Heinz Kerry and the late Sen. John Heinz, R-Pa. He spoke about John Kerry's beliefs, plans for the future and about how he got to know him as a stepfather.
