President Roderick J. McDavis announced the university’s plans for an effective leadership transition following the departure of Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration Bill Decatur in January 2010 in a memo to the campus community Friday.
McDavis said that a search committee -- chaired by Executive Vice President and Provost Pam Benoit and comprised of faculty, staff and student representatives -- will conduct a national search for Decatur’s replacement. The committee will begin its work during winter intersession and will continue throughout winter and spring quarters. Click here for a full list of the search committee members.
McDavis also announced that, beginning Jan. 6, Mike Angelini – who currently serves as associate vice president for treasury management – has agreed to be the interim senior vice president for Finance and Administration while Terry Conry – currently the associate vice president for planning and assessment – will serve as the interim associate vice president for Administration.
Angelini will provide leadership for the entire division, and will directly oversee Finance, Budget Planning and Analysis, Shared Services and Controller. Culinary and Dining Operations, Airport, Printing and Graphics Services, Facilities, Safety and Risk Management and Human Resources will report directly to Conry.
