Ohio University Classified Senate will host "How to Discuss What Matters Most," a workshop that will teach classified employees how to deal with difficult behavior at the workplace on Tuesday, Dec. 1, in Baker University Center 240/242.
Two sessions will be offered. The first session will take place from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and the second one from 12:45 to 3:30 p.m. A free lunch will be provided between sessions.
Teri Combs, organizational learning and development consultant in Ohio University Human Resources, will conduct the workshop.
"The goal of this workshop is to give employees the tools to communicate effectively and efficiently when they encounter people who are demonstrating difficult behavior toward them," Combs said.
Participants must register for the workshop by Nov. 20 by e-mailing their name and the session they will attend to Brad Cecil at cecil@ohio.edu.
