Winter quarter at Ohio University was full of triumphs for the faculty, staff and students. OHIO's celebration of Founders Day kicked off a quarter that included two gifts totaling more than $41 million from alumna Violet L. Patton, the tenth anniversary of Recyclemania, the Marching 110 performing at Tournament of Roses, and much more.
The university had several sports victories; the basketball team won the MAC tournament, a MAC wrestling champion, and a MAC freshman of the year.
The faculty excelled in research, earning prominent grants to study various topics, such as ADHD, climate change adaptation, and healthy, local food systems.
These and several more achievements happened since the quarter began in January and are showcased in "Highlighting the Green."
