Targeted news resource for faculty and staff coming soon

From staff reports
Ohio University faculty and staff will soon have a targeted source for news and information. Compass Points, a new publication from Ohio University Communications and Marketing (UCM), is coming this spring to e-mail inboxes.
During a survey conducted last spring with the assistance of the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, respondents indicated that staff news, university initiatives and updates about university policies and procedures were among the top-five types of content that people are most interested in reading.
With those results in mind, UCM is creating a news resource that responds specifically to the needs of faculty and staff.
The university’s redesigned news Web site, Ohio University Compass, will continue to provide the same high-quality coverage of issues, events and stories of interest to students, faculty, staff and community members, just as Outlook did.
Going a step further, Compass Points will address developing issues that matter directly to the faculty and staff of OHIO. It will aim to increase communication across colleges, departments and offices.
