University to continue search for finance VP
Mar 29, 2010
From staff reports
An Ohio University search committee has recommended keeping the search open for a new vice president for finance and administration. This decision came following interviews and community forums with the lone finalist earlier this month.
President Roderick J. McDavis accepted the committee's recommendation and has asked all existing committee members to continue their service, working with Baker and Associates to identify candidates for review and consideration.
Pam Benoit, executive vice president and provost, said the search will continue to be carried out with thoughtfulness and care.
"Baker and Associates will not receive any additional professional fees for extending the search," Benoit said. "We will take as much time as needed to fill this critical role in the university."
Mike Angelini will continue to serve as interim vice president for finance and administration.
