Vice president for finance and administration finalists to visit campus
Each candidate will attend an open forum

A university-wide search committee has selected Lawrence R. Kelley and Richard D. Van Den Hul as finalists for the position of vice president for finance and administration at Ohio University.
Executive Vice President and Provost Pam Benoit chaired the search committee that screened 19 total candidates and interviewed seven candidates during the search process.
Both candidates will visit campus in the next 10 days to meet with executive staff members, academic leaders and various university constituent groups. In addition, each candidate will take part in an hour-long open forum that will include a question-and-answer period.
- Lawrence R. Kelley, vice president for administration and finance/chief financial officer at California Polytechnic State University (aka Cal Poly) will visit campus Wednesday to Friday. His open forum will take place from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Thursday in the Baker University Center Theatre.
- Richard D. Van Den Hul, vice president for finance and administration at the University of South Dakota will visit campus March 14-16. His open forum with take place 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Monday, March 15, in Baker University Center Theatre.
Both open forums will be webcast at http://streaming.cns.ohiou.edu/president/ to provide access to anyone who is unable to attend in person.
The new vice president for finance and administration will oversee finance, budget planning and analysis, shared services, controller, culinary and dining operations, airport, printing and graphics services, facilities, safety and risk management, and human resources.
The successful candidate will replace former Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration William Decatur, who left the university in January to become executive vice president for the Rhode Island School of Design. Mike Angelini has served as interim senior vice president for finance and administration since Jan. 6.
