This weekend, Ohio University students will participate in a campus tradition that has been celebrated for decades -- Dads Weekend. Dads are invited to campus to bond with their students and to take part in many social activities.
"We're looking forward to welcoming dads to campus," Chad Barnhardt, coordinator of parent outreach and special projects in the Division of Student Affairs, said. "I'm excited that the events cross the spectrum and that they're tailored to fit all kinds of interests -- from fine arts to athletics, dads and their students are set to have a great weekend."
Here is a preview of this weekend's events:
- The 2010 School of Art Faculty Exhibition will showcase art in a range of mediums including painting, sculpture, installation art, new media, ceramics and more.
