The Kennedy Museum of Art will host "A Night at the Museum: Art Comes to Life" from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, during Ohio University's Sibs Weekend. Admission is $5 per person, and the event is open to the general public.
This evening of collaboration between the Kennedy Museum of Art and the Ohio University School of Theater will comprise short, original performance works inspired by the exhibits at Kennedy Museum of Art. They will be performed by students from the schools of theater, film and dance, as well as other members of the university community.
The event was designed to give OHIO students an opportunity to bring their siblings to a fun and creative experience on campus during Sibs Weekend.
Produced by Rebecca VerNooy, visiting assistant professor in the Ohio University School of Theater, the performances will repeat throughout the night. Visitors may arrive any time between 7 and 8:30 pm to experience the performances.
The Kennedy Museum of Art is located in Lin Hall at The Ridges. The CATS shuttle bus will provide free transportation from Baker University Center to the museum and back. The shuttle will leave from the lower level of Baker University Center at 6:45, 7:15, 7:45 and 8:15, and depart from the museum every half hour until 10 pm.
