Ohio University is currently in last place in the waste minimization category for the competition. Here are a few tips to maximize waste minimization:

1.) When shopping, think about the packaging of the products being bought. The individual pre-packaged items produce a lot of waste. Try to buy products in bulk or in packaging that can be recycled.

2.) Don’t buy something new if you can fix something old. Sometimes that worn pair of jeans just needs to be patched up.
