Forum to be held about road construction impact
Tuesday discussion will focus on Richland Avenue businesses and residents

On Tuesday, the City of Athens will hold an open forum to discuss the Richland Avenue improvement project. The forum will be held at the Ohio University Inn from 4 to 7 p.m.
Those who live in the area are encouraged to attend and are welcome to ask questions about the new construction and predicted lane and road closures. There is no formal agenda and Athens residents can stop by fill out a comment card, and discuss their concerns with a city representative.
The forum is open to any questions related to the construction and will not be focused on the roundabout. It will, instead look at future improvements on Richland Avenue between Dairy Lane and Pomeroy.
Those most impacted include residents of Dairy Lane and the University Courtyard and Summit apartment complexes. But, all Athens residents are encouraged to come forward with their questions or comments.
