Two-time Grammy-Award winner Ben Harper and Relentless7 will perform at 8 p.m. Friday in Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium.
The performance is one of the stops on the 2010 Campus Consciousness Tour and will feature blues-influenced rock band Alberta Cross as an opening act.
The Campus Consciousness Tour is a half-rock, half-environmental campaign that aims to inspire and activate audience members in an electric atmosphere while leaving a positive impact on communities. In addition to educating and mobilizing students, it includes many greening elements and is run to have a minimal environmental footprint.
As part of Harper's visit, the Campus Consciousness Tour will run eco-trivia games outside Baker University Center all day. Participants can win prizes and learn interesting eco-facts.
Concert tickets may be purchased at the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium Ticket Office, which is open from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour before the show. Tickets can also be purchased online.* For more information, call 740-593-1780 or visit the Performing Arts Series Web site.
