Community and Professional Programs is again sponsoring the popular, "Grants and How to Get Them" workshop to be held Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Grover Center.
This informative one-day seminar is ideal for those with little or no experience in grant writing and will take you step-by-step through proven techniques for identifying and contacting potential funders, developing and submitting proposals and following up on your requests.
The cost for the workshop is $75 and includes lunch and materials. University personnel and students are encouraged to attend.
"In these difficult economic times there are so many people who would like to apply for grants, but don't know how to get started. We hope to demystify the process in this workshop", said Lisa Dael, program coordinator for Community and Professional Programs.
