ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- A track and conditioning camp will be held at Ohio University Eastern Campus Jan. 13 to Feb. 24 for high school students in grades 8-12.
"This is perfect for track participants who want to improve their skills and conditioning before the season," said David Castle, one of the camp's three directors.
The 13 sessions will be held indoors at the Ney Center from 3:45-5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is limited to the first 50 registrants. Tuition is $115 per person and includes all 13 sessions, individual instruction, a personalized strength training program, T-shirt and training log. If six or more students from the same school register, the cost is $95 per person.

In addition to strength training, the camp will also provide information sessions on nutrition, training principles and strategy and tactics.
