Pete Souza, the Obama administration's official White House photographer and an assistant professor in the School of Visual Communication, was a featured guest in a FOX program on Sept. 6.
"FOX News Sunday," a weekly program hosted by Chris Wallace, highlights a "Power Player of the Week" at the end of every program. The Sunday, Sept. 6, show featured Souza, who spoke about favorite moments of photographing a president.
Souza added that he hopes his photography will capture the essence of the Obama presidency.
"People can go back in 50 years, look back at this set of pictures and get a good glimpse of this presidency," he said.
Souza, who joined the faculty of Ohio University's internationally recognized School of Visual Communication in fall 2007, took an extended leave of absence from the classroom for the White House job, but he does plan to return. He is the author of "The Rise of Barack Obama," which made The New York Times Best Sellers list.
The "FOX News Sunday" broadcast can be viewed on Hulu. The "Power Player of the Week" segment can be viewed starting at the 45:43 mark.
