The gala, which took place at the Baker University Center Ballroom, recognized the Alumna of the Year, Medal of Merit winners, Distinguished Service winners, the Charles J. and Claire O. Ping Recent Graduate winner, the Honorary Alumna, and the inductees to the Kermit Blosser Ohio Athletics Hall of Fame.

"We have a stellar group of people being recognized this year," said Connie Romine, associate executive director for the Alumni Association. "The gala has become a very strong symbol of the Ohio University Alumni Association Board of Directors, who is really responsible for this event. It is their leadership and their hard work to help obtain quality nominations that make this possible."
