An opening for the exhibit titled "The Evolution of Campus: A Timeline of Campus Maps 1799-2009" will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, on the first floor of The Ridges Building 19.

Facsimiles of 21 maps, beginning from circa 1799, show the growth and changes on campus over time. University Planner Pam Callahan put together exhibit, including notations on each map to help the viewer better interpret each map individually and as part of the whole.

Facilities Planning and Space Management along with the Office of Design and Construction are sponsoring the exhibit, which will run during business hours through Nov. 25.
