Classified employees -- both bargaining unit and non-bargaining unit employees -- have an opportunity to receive overtime pay for working Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 during Athens' Halloween weekend event. The signup deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3.
Hours of work would be approximately 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. each night, with no split shifts.
Employees are asked to sign up between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at University Human Resources, 169 W. Union St. Those who are unable to sign up at Human Resources may e-mail the required information to sheppard@ohio.edu.
Interested employees can learn more information by visiting the university's employment Web site, selecting "search postings" and scrolling to "Halloween overtime 2008" under the "Job title" drop-down menu. Please note, there is no online application -- employees are responsible for signing up in person at Human Resources.
