Forums set for Communications and Marketing finalists

Three finalists for the position of executive director of University Communications and Marketing will participate in open forums on the Athens campus next week.
The candidates, with links to their vitae (in PDF format) and forum times and locations, are:
- Daniel Smith, director of corporate communications for PAETEC Holding Corp. in Dallas, 1:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, Baker University Center 231
- Renea Morris, director of public relations for Convergys Corp. in Cincinnati, 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, Baker University Center 231
- Christopher Hardwick, vice president, marketing and communications, Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass., 1:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, Baker University Center 240.
The candidates will share their experiences and views about communications and marketing and take questions.
Chief Information Officer Brice Bible is heading the national search to fill the executive director position. Former Executive Director of Communications and Marketing Joe Brennan resigned in February to join the State University of New York at Buffalo, his alma mater, and Senior Director of Marketing Communications Gina Calcamuggio has served as interim executive director since that time.
