Police issued a campus crime alert after four male students reported being approached by a college-age male with a small knife at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday. The suspect challenged them to a fight. The males told police that after a brief altercation, they fled to their residence.

The suspect was described as a white male, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a slim build and dirty blond hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark sweatshirt and a dark -- possibly leather -- jacket.

The OUPD asks that anyone with information call 740-593-1911.
