Halloween Gala to offer treat for the ears and eyes Oct 29, 2008 By Andie Walla
Costumes are optional, but an appreciation for Halloween-inspired music is required.
In a rare performance, the School of Music is bringing together its vocal and instrument ensembles for a Halloween Gala at 8 p.m. Thursday in Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium.
The concert will include performances by the Ohio University Orchestras, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band and University Singers. There also will be special performances by the Singing Men of Ohio and Marching 110.
Admission is free for Ohio University students, $5 for the public and $3 for seniors and non-Ohio University students. Proceeds benefit School of Music Scholarships. For more information, visit www.finearts.ohio.edu/music/home.htm.
