Open forums for HTC dean candidates to be held this week

Open forums will be held this week for the university community to ask questions and learn more about the two Ohio University faculty members who have been named as finalists in the search for a new dean of the Honors Tutorial College.
Information about the candidates and their scheduled appearances follows:
- Jeremy Webster is scheduled for today, May 18, from noon to 12:50 p.m. in Baker University Center 231.
Webster is an associate professor of English and serves as director of study of the English Honors Tutorial Program and coordinator of the English Departmental Honors Program.
- Lauren McMills, is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, from noon to 12:50 in Baker University Center 231.
McMills is an assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry and director of general chemistry at Ohio University. She also serves HTC as director of studies for chemistry.
Candidate evaluation forms will be distributed at the forums. Each of the candidates' curricula vitae is posted on the search Web site: www.ohio.edu/apaa/htcdeansearch.cfm.
