With the start of open enrollment, Ohio University employees will be able to make changes to their benefits. Employees should receive enrollment packets in their campus mailboxes this week. The deadline for open enrollment is Friday, May 15, according to University Human Resources.
Employees should carefully review the covered dependents listed on their enrollment form. In fall 2009, University Human Resources will conduct an eligibility audit of dependents covered under the university’s health insurance program, and ineligible dependents will be removed. An amnesty period is being held during open enrollment. Employees may remove ineligible dependents from coverage during this time. If you have questions regarding dependent eligibility, contact University Human Resources at 740-593-1639.
