Student projects showcased [video] Research and Creative Activity Expo highlights variety of work May 5, 2009 By Casey S. Elliott
Hundreds of student research projects ranging from dance pieces on coal mining to investigations into how alpacas and horses chew will be showcased Thursday, May 14, at the 2009 Student Research and Creative Activity Expo.
The annual expo, to be held from noon to 3 p.m. at the Convocation Center, showcases research, scholarship and creative activity presentations from more than 640 undergraduate, graduate and medical students and postdoctoral fellows. Awards in each category will be announced at 2 p.m.
In the next week as the expo approaches, student writers will feature some projects that will be shown at the expo, and will look into the thought processes behind the creation of those research projects.
