Fire emergencies policy updated

A revised version of Ohio University Policy 44.105, which outlines fire safety and prevention practices for all university buildings, was approved March 17.
Joe Adams, director of Environmental Health and Safety, said the revisions update and simplify the previous policy, which was last revised in 1979. The policy integrates current university and state policies, and also references 911, which was not in place when the original policy was instituted.
