Classified Senate will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday in Baker University Center 242. The meeting is open to the public.
Director of Human Resources Services and Student Employment Becky Bushey-Miller will discuss best practices for interviewing job candidates in higher education. The presentation is designed to assist Classified Senate in advance of its group interview sessions with finalists for the executive vice president and provost position this spring.
Chief Human Resource Officer Luis Lewin, who serves as senate's liaison to the university's administration, will update the group on the latest happenings involving his office.
Teri Combs, organizational and learning development consultant from University Human Resources, will present a program overview of the Career Development Plan for classified employees. Participants in the proposed plan would take college courses and participate in various professional development activities to prepare themselves for job advancement opportunities.
Senate also will honor the February Classified Employee of the Month.
