Family Weekends, Homecoming dates scheduled for next year

Ohio University has announced the dates of its Family Weekends and Homecoming for the 2009-10 academic year:
- Homecoming: October 16-18, 2009
- Parents Weekend: October 23-25, 2009
- Dads Weekend: January 22-24, 2010
- Parents Weekend: February 5-7, 2010
- Sibs Weekend: February 19-21, 2010
- Moms Weekend: April 30-May 2, 2010
Family Weekends are a special part of the Ohio University experience. "Ohio University knows that family time is most important to many people, so we put a lot of effort into making sure these family weekends are fun and exciting," says Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Ryan Lombardi. "Our goal each year is to make sure the weekends are memorable for all parents and students. We want the family members of our students to feel welcome on campus."
Participation in Family Weekends is open to everyone. Schedules of events and other details for Family Weekends and Homecoming will be made available on the Web at www.ohio.edu/familyweekends/ and www.ohio.edu/homecoming/.
